We have twins and only had one crib to start. It was gift from a high-end store that cost $600. We didn't purchase another crib as they were able to sleep together for awhile, but as they grew we found ourselves needing another crib. We didn't want to spend alot but still wanted something safe and something that would grow with our child. I am so happy with this crib. I agree with the other reviewers who say it is much nicer in person. It is very sturdy. It does almost look black but we have some other furniture around the house that we needed to use (twins need extra dressers!) and with the color it blends with other types of wood furniture without standing out. It was super easy to assemble. I like it so much I have actually posted the expensive crib up for sale so that I can fit 2 of these side-by-side in their bedroom. I highly recommend this crib - it is GREAT bang for your buck.
